looking for photographer recs pls

We live in Pearland and I'm looking for an awesome family photographer that includes hi-res digital negatives (the big files) on disk with their packages.

I'm also looking for some pretty shooting locations. We use to shoot at the Dallas Arboretum before we moved and I don't know what around here is close to that. We love outdoor photography rather than studio work.

THX!!

  • This is a nestie who just did my BFF's maternity pics that were AMAZING! And she's super reasonably priced: 19twelve photography

And I love love love KD Loftis photography who did our newborn pics (another nestie/bumpie) and also does FABULOUS work - www.kdloftisphotography.com

And though I've never worked with them Monkey Tree and J.Stratton
(I think that's it) are nesties that do amazing work as well.

We've got some pretty talented ladies here.

  • I got mine done through Paperdolls and I cannot recommend her work enough. We shot ours at our house- inside and out. I don't know how she managed to transform our house to look like a beautiful set, but she did. But I know she has shot at some other beautiful outdoor locations and will probably have suggestions.

  • I'd recommend any of the above and throw in Sugar Shots too.

  • If you want an experienced photographer who is patient & kind with little ones, I highly recommend Monkey Tree Photography. Can not sing her praises loud enough!

  • Another recommendation for Kasey at Monkeytree Photography.  She has been shooting my boys since the first was in the womb :-) I just love how patient she is with kids, she will really take the time to get to know your little one and make them comfortable - and typically goofy with her - to get great shots.  My two year old was being such a two year old at our last session and somehow she got great shots of him smiling and playing - I swear it wasn't the same kid I had there that day!
