rash or acne PIP???? please help

my BIL tells me it's just acne but last night her face flared up a lot more than usual.  and it's only on that side of her face.  I'm thinking maybe it's something I wear or use but I do my laundry in the same clear detergent that I use on her stuff.  Any ideas??  Do you think it's nothing to worry about?? It doesn't bother her at all.  Thanks for your advice!

    I say rash. I could be wrong, but my LO's baby acne didn't look like that.

    Could it be a heat rash! DD had that exact say thing on her tummy from the heat!

    I say acne.. Khari's face was like that for weeks. It was all the way in her hair and everything. i was told to wipe her face with a warm cloth no soap and no lotion.. Not even baby lotion... When my neice had heat rash it looked way worse than that and she wouldn't stop crying.. Is he fussy at all?

    Question--is that the side your baby usually lays on if/when LO lays on you or DH? Our LO would lay on one side on my DH and developed baby acne from oil/heat, etc. We started putting a recieving blanket between DH and the baby and it went away in a few days--so in our case, it was acne (and it  looked just like that).

    Anyway GL!

    I'll try just a wash cloth thanks!  she doesn't seem fussy - she's usually fussy at night but I think if her face really bothered her she would be fussing all day right??  hopefully the wash cloth and putting something between her and us when we hold her will help.  I don't think it's heat rash b/c we usually have the AC on.  It's in the 70s here in NY right now so the ac is off but it's about 70 in the house too right now.  Thanks for the advice everyone!

    I have the SAME EXACT picture of my daughter with her thumb in her mouth all awkward in the hospital!!! so funny!

    I thought DD's was acne too but today the ped said it was a rash from eczema and gave us a script for hydrocortisone. hope it isnt that for your baby
