I don't know how to title this post

All of your kind words, prayers and vibes have gotten me through these past few days. I cannot tell you how much it has meant to my family and I to know that you were think of us. Those nd vibes really do work because eventhough they didn't change the outcome of today's surgery, I felt your support, which I needed. While my family was in the waiting room at the hospital, I had to be at work , because it was the first day of classes today.

Today we found out why my dad has been incessantly coughing for the past 2 months. He has Cancer. the good news is his bloodsugar is back to 150. I guess there's always a positive right?

I don't know what to write, I don't know how to say what I'm feeling, but I know that I need your continued support.

I don't know how to respond either....I guess the good thing is that they have figured out what has been causing his coughing.  And like you said, the blood sugar is better.

I've missed your posts but I'm glad there is a slight glimmer of positive news with the glucose levels even though the rest of the news wasn't positive.  Definitely keeping you and your family in my thoughts & prayers and sending tons of vibes & hugs as long as you need them.

Hugs. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Did they remove some or all of it with the surgery? I'm glad they were aglble to get his sugar down. I will be thinking of you and your family.

Krissie, I'm sorry that your family is having to go through this. I know how hard everything has been for you recently with school starting back and just life in general. I'm glad that they were able to find the cause for the coughing, even though it seems scary. I've been in those shoes a few times in the last few years, and know the "don't know what to say or feel" feeling well. Hopefully he'll have awesome doctors working with him and they can help. Let me know if you need anything, or if you don't know if you need anything. We love you and are praying for you.

oh Krissie, I am so sorry ....your dad, you, your family will all continue to be in my t&p.  huge hugs.  Did they say what stage it is?  Jeff's uncle was having some issues for years and didn't go to the doctor.  when he finally did, they said it was throat cancer.  he has gone through chemo and is now in remission.  we're always here for you!

*GINORMOUS HUGS*  I know what it's like to get slapped in the face with that reality.  There are no words to say that will make you feel better, I'm sorry.  Just know that I'm here if you ever need to vent or cry or whatever.  My mom's prognosis went from not so great to ok to optimistic.  I hope your dad's prognosis is just as good.  Hang in there, girl!
