FREE Family Fest this Sunday in Plymouth
Hey, everyone. Since we are always looking for free/cheap child-friendly activities, I thought I would let you all know about an event my kids' school is sponsoring this weekend.
Lil Newton's Nest in Plymouth is holding a free Family Fest at the Nest from 10-1 on Sunday. It is located at the school on Hwy 55 & Larch. They are having a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, visit from the Plymouth police, and other kids' activities. Food is being provided by the 8th St Grill and Seven. All food and activities are free with a non-perishable food or personal care item donation to benefit the local Emergency Foodshelf Network.

Yes, I think this event sounds awesome for people with youngs kids. I know mine are excited to go!
I also just heard Lil Newton's Nest is having an open house tomorrow night 5:30-8:30 if anyone is looking for child care. I think they only have immediate openings for younger toddler, older toddler, and pre-K right now. There is likely a wait list for infant care.

I am sure it will be nuts busy but I am guessing most people will be on the "big kid rids" & not on the little kid stuff.
