Babysitting Pay?

I need someone to watch my girls for one day a week for 2.5 hours.  I've asked a friend and now am trying to figure out pay. 

 M2 will be asleep most of the time.  No mealtimes involved (if that makes a difference).  Here travel time is 15 minutes (one way) so there is that factor.

 Help me please.

My sitter is $10 an hour.  I have also used one who is $8 an hour.

I paid $8 an hour and T was sleeping for 2-3 hours of the 6 hours.

Since it'll be about 3 hrs total of her time, I'd do a flat $30 and call it a day.

Is this an adult?  I'd say for 2 kids $10-12 is fair.  Unless it's a young girl.  I'd pay a younger person $6-8 hr...

Will she be putting M down, or will she already be asleep?  If she will already be asleep - I would probably do like $10/hr.  If she has to put her down - maybe more like $12?/hr
