Ordered my first Prefolds!

I'm so excited! So we've been CD'ing since DD was 3 weeks old, using the BG 3.0's. And I love them, I really do, but we needed more. I only have 12 of them so I currently have to do laundry every other day, and some laundry days we run out, and we still use one disposable at night. This was working great for us since I wasn't ready to do night CD'ing, but now that DD is practically giving up her bedtime nursing, I finally decided to take the plunge and go all out. and after even more research than the first time around, I ordered 2 thirsties duo's and 6 prefolds. I got 3 of each kind (chinese and indian) and I figured I could add more if I wanted. But I mainly want to update my stash so that I can night CD (probably with the BG's) and use the extra diapers during the days. I don't mind if I still have to do laundry every other day sometimes and every 3 days others, I just want to be ready! and I'm so excited I just had to share!

woot! congrats...that's how we roll. prefolds mostly for day, BG for night

YAY! I did the BG and prefold thing for a while. Reversed though- BG at night, prefold during the day. Then with teh hard water here in NOLA, I got fed up with stripping diapers all the time! Now we only use prefolds. NO leaks though! 8D
