Hey there,

I saw on a previous post that a few months ago you had the hysteroscopy/laproscopy procedure done and I was just curious about your healing time.  They are going to be removing my right tube, repairing my left and removing whatever funk is in my uterus.  I was just curious about how long it took you before you were back to work, or back to feeling like TTC?

Hi!  I had minimal endometriosis and some uterine polyps removed.  My surgery was on Wed, I took Thurs off from work, and had Fri off (our office was closed because it was Easter weekend), so I had a nice long weekend to recover.  I was pretty out of it on Wed, and crampy on Thurs.  I was still sore, but could have gone back to work on Fri, if my office wasn't closed.  By Mon, I was feeling a lot better, but the incision site would get sore after sitting for a while, so I would get up and walk around.  My RE does the lap around CD10, so it's after AF and before O.  We werent' allowed to have sex for 2-3 weeks, so we were out that cycle, but were cleared to start ttc again that next cycle.  Try to schedule it on like a Thurs, so you don't have to take too much time off work, but still have a long weekend to recover.
