Wow, thanks for the info! DS is 7 weeks and we've been going through a big time growth spurt the last week. He has been cluster feeding mainly in the evening and is eating every 1:45 minutes to 2 hours. He used to be an every 3 hour eater! Can't wait for feedings and sleep to get back to normal!
Yeah thanks for the post - DD turned 7 weeks yesterday and last night was my worst night since we came home from the hospital. She at every hour to hour and a half. Made for a rough night for me. Luckily she has been really good today during the day! )
Re: 7 week old and cluster feeding
Never mind ... found the answer myself ... for those of you wondering
Cluster feedings happen around growth spurts usually, common ages are:
2 -3 weeks, 6 - 8 weeks, 3 months ... They can last anywhere from 2 to 3 days up to 9 days ...
Be sure to eat more, drink more during them ...
Sleeping arrangements will return to normal after the growth spurt is finished.
