Hi everyone! I've been lurking on this board for a couple of months and finally decided that I needed to introduce myself and start contributing since you ladies have become such a big part of my day now.
My name is Bonnie and I'll be 31 in just a couple of weeks. My husband and I have been married for about 2 1/2 years, although we've known each other since we were 17. We just bought our first home in November of last year. My bestest friend in the whole wide world found out she was pregnant in June (after trying for almost a year). Two weeks later, I get my surprise BFP, and I still can't believe how lucky we are to be pregnant at the same time! Her EDD is 2/14 and mine is 2/23.
Although my Butter Bean was a surprise, I've been wanting to be pregnant for a long time, just hadn't quite talked my husband into the idea yet. Well, thankfully, he got on board VERY quickly once the pee stick came up positive. And is now so adorable and completely and totally in love with this baby. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Bi-Polar Disorder about this time last year and getting off the medication has been the biggest challenge of the pregnancy so far, but I think I'm have finally successfully weaned off everything.
It's been so nice to read along with you ladies, and know that there are others going through the same things I'm going through, reaching the same milestones I am, and excited over the same things. I'm looking forward to participating as much as I can! Thanks everyone!

Welcome. It must be nice to have someone going through the same stuff at the same time. I'm a special ed teacher so I have seen kids on and off meds and can't imagine what a challenge that has been for you. Hopefully you can stay strong through your pregnancy and that your bff and dh can help you through.
