What do you think of this name for a boy?  Just wondering, I have seen it on a few sites and not sure if I like it or hate it. But it keeps caching my eye.  Is it strong or sissy?

    The first nn I thought of was Lenny and I'm not a fan of that.

    Plus, doesn't Lennox make little crystal figurines or something?

    It's not awful, but probably NMS.  I'm not a big fan of names with "x" in them.

    Lennox reminds me of Lennon, which I don't like. (you know, soviet russia, all that) I like Maddox though, that's similar.

    I think of the former boxer, Lennox Lewis, so sissy most definitely doesn't come to mind. I think he only lost two or three matches in his entire career... pretty bada*s. That said, I think it's just an okay name.

    YOur right Lenny would be the nn and I hate that. Okay, not a fan anymore.  Thanks ladies. I guess it just keeps catching my eye cause it is different.

    I also think of Lennox Lewis the boxer so I don't think of it as a "sissy" name at all. I don't really care for it personally, but it's not horrible.

    Lennox is a company that makes figurines or the last name of an artist, Annie Lennox. I actually think girl more than anything thanks to Annie. Lennon + Maddox?

    I actually like it :-)  Makes me think of the town Lenox that is out in the Berkshires (western Mass).

    It made me think of The Secret Garden character Mary Lennox. I love that story, but the name is NMS. It's a cool last name, but I don't think it'd make a good first name.

    I love this name. I'm a Lennox Lewis (boxer) fan so I might be in the minority but I think it's a great (and uncommon) name with a positive association for me.

    Normally I wouldn't think that Lennox was girly. I would just think it was trendy (with the X and all).

    But you know, there's a new show on ABC Family that just premiered last week, called "Melissa and Joey", staring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence. "Aunt Mel" is put in charge of her neice and nephew, and hires "Joe" to help take care of the kids.

    Anywho, the neice's name is "Lennox". She's about 14 or 15.

    So this name could possibly steer more towards girls in the near future.

    And it could possibly become a new teen mom namesation, so beware!
