attire for Parent/Child pre-K orientation?

Forgive me, I'll be an emotional mess this week!

Ben and I are going to the orientation tonight.  I don't know what we should wear...lol.  It's Christian school (K3-8th grade - I think this is for the entire school).  They wear uniforms that are khakis and polos or oxford shirts.  We were told that if we (parents) volunteer in the class we should dress as the students do (so skirts and short/long sleeve tops - not necessarily the same colors).

So tonight should we dress the same?  I was thinking khakis/polo for DS (not his actual uniform) and a skirt/short sleeve top for me?  Not jeans/shorts/capris, right?

Humor me. ;)
