Scary Day

I got my first big pregnancy scare today  . I have really had everything go great so far and I just passed 13 weeks so I was shocked that I started spotting today.  My doctor was able to get me in and everything was fine on my ultrasound - good heartbeat - everything where it should be and she could see the source of the bleeding and she thinks that it is a minor deal.  This was still really scary.  My husband has been great and we are praying that everything is going to be ok.

I'm glad everything is okay! I had the same exact thing happen on the 13th. It was the very end of my 11th week. I went in and everything looked okay and my cervix was closed. She said it's probably the placenta forming close to the cervix.

Just rest! That's what i did and now i haven't had anything since.

I will keep you and your baby in my prayers, I am sure everything is fine though, especially if the doctor said so.

Thanks everyone! 

Im taking a few days off work to take it easy and I'll be on pelvic rest and limited activity for the next month.  My husband and I are just praying that everything will be ok.  I wish I could just fastforward to my 8th month!

I had some bleeding w/ DS's pg starting around wk 13 - it was scary, but he is a fabulous 2 year old these days.  Mine was from placenta previa.  Hope yours stops and you don't have to worry about it anymore!
