I heard this name on the beach today.  Anyone ever hear it before? I think it is very cute and feminine. I think it's now in the running (that is if DH likes it too).

Love it! I prefer the Italian spelling Goia, it was almost my nieces name, but they knew no one would know how to pronounce it.

Can't say that I would ever use it. It's to close to Joy and I intensely dislike all of the "virtue" names.

It's kind of cute. I love the name Joy and Joya isn't too bad of a variation. Very nice!

I know one, but it's cre8ively spelled...I'm on the fence...it's okay when I hear it, but when I see it, it looks wrong. I'll just go with NMS.

I know one - she spells it Gioia and is pretty authentically Italian.  I don't know if you spelled it that way if people would remotely guess how to pronounce it without help though.
