sneaky ways to get them to eat green beans?

my kids eat a number of vegetables but I generally tend to put them in other stuff or make things that include them (like broccoli nuggest, spinach in pasta sauce or spinach ricotta bites, asparagus risotto etc). They definitely do not like green beans & have always spit them out no matter how I try & even if I put a little butter on. THey're just sucha n easy veggie to make, any tips for getting them in their diet?

Thanks!

  • You can sneak them into meatloaf, I add green beans and carrots to it and they have yet to notice them.

  • Oh good idea, i have put carrots in before but didn't think about green beans!
  • DS eats them in chicken potpie.  I'm not sure if it's sneaky, though, because you can still see they're green beans.

  • try offering them cut differently and seasoned with sea salt and a little pepper. My 3 year old just discovered she loves them because I offered them to her french-cut and added sea salt and pepper. I also told her they were called "Tinkerbell's Favorite Snack", but that little trick might not work until they're older;)

  • If I dip anything in hummus DD will eat it, green beans, whatever
