Potty Training
when did they start telling you they needed the potty?
Just curious - before you started PTing? After? If after, how long did it take?

DS started telling me he needed to go about 10 days after we started potty training. He has showed other signs of readiness so we put him in underwear and it took about a week for an accident free day and a few extra days before he was telling me every time.
DD was telling me she needed to go when we potty trained her(she potty trained herself). I did not actively train her. She loved sitting on the potty when DS would go and started using it occasionally. She took herself potty one day and started telling me when she had to go. She has been in panties since with very few accidents.
We are on day 12 of PTing. It probably took about a week for him to tell me he legitimately had to go (and not just saying it for the sticker). Most of the time it's me initiating him going still and he's young (IMO) so I'm ok with that.
