I thought I'd amuse myself with posting DH's and I's top names for 4 & 5 and see what everyone thinks. Suggestions are welcome, and opinions are wanted
I love the name Hudson for a little guy...and Oliver is super cute too. Any middle name options?

I like Hudson and Oliver. Avery and Oliver are cute.
Avery and Louise is an interesting choice; such different styles.
Even though Avery is becoming more popular and "trendy", I've always thought of it as a classic, traditional sounding name. This is probably why we paired Avery with Louise
True, but I guess "traditional boy name" paired with "traditional girl name" just kind of jumped out at me. I like Avery for a girl (even though I'm not wild about boy names for girls in general) but it seems cool and trendy (as part of the boy-name-for-girl trend) and young, while Louise conjures up an image of an older woman with horn-rimmed glasses and a gray cardigan.
I like them. Did you know Oliver Hudson is an actor? He's Kate Hudson's brother and is on the show Rules of Engagement. Just a neat little fact, since you're bored!

Are you on bedrest until December? Oh, I really feel for you. I was on bedrest for one week - it was hard!
I love all except Louise. I don't hate it, but don't love it. All your other babies have cute names too.
God willing, I pray and pray, and hope and hope, that I will not be on bedrest until December! Right now my Dr. said we will take it week by week, and hope the hospital monitoring/meds I receive will do the trick. I was having PTL and shortening of my cervix at 20 weeks, so it does look doubtful though :P. Oh well!
We aren't completely sold on Louise yet. It was my grandma & great-grandma's names...and I've always loved it. I also love the nn Lou. But I haven't decided if it goes with our other children's names.
I love Hudson! Avery is okay. I'm not a fan of Oliver or Louise (though I do think Louisa is kind of cute).
I agree with pp that the names seem to be very different styles, which sound a little odd with twins. Hudson and Avery are more modern and Louise and Oliver are very traditional, so they just seem a little off together. I know some people don't care about that though.

Good choices. I like all of them except for Louise. Do you have any other girls names picked out that you could swap for that one? Hope you are off bedrest soon!
I am not a fan of Hudson. I know a little nightmare of a child named Hudson. Maybe I would like it if I didn't have the negative name association. Love the rest!

I like all of the names you listed BUT Avery. I've never really liked this name and I've voiced this opinion, but you know, I've never offered an alternative before... so here it is: Aveline.
haha, I was wondering your list for the twins! Glad you posted this.
I found a really interesting Twin Names article on Nameberry last night. I think you could benefit from it, particularly the excerpt on gender compatibility:
"Gender compatibility may be more important for twins than it is for siblings. One pair of starbaby twins whose names don?t quite work as well as they should: Sean ?Diddy? Combs? Jesse James and D'Lila Star. Both are girls, yet Jessie's name seems thoroughly boyish while D?Lila?s is feminine to the point of frilly. Melissa Ethridge?s twins are Johnnie and Miller ? but unless you know their middle names, you wouldn?t guess that Johnnie is a girl, Miller a boy. Such gender confusion seems needless, well, confusing."
The reason I bring this up is because Avery is a unisex name nowadays. Yes it started as a boy name, but now it's a toss up. Read this bump thread for Bumpie's opinions on this exact subject from earlier today.

We like Grace for Avery, Talia for Louise, Kenneth for Oliver, and Theodore for Hudson.

Haha. I did not know that!
I just "Googled" him...not too bad on the eyes
No, no he's not!

Don't like Avery. I like Louise, but prefer Louisa so it's a bit more feminine.
Hudson and Oliver are great, especially together.

I'm with pp's in liking Louisa much better than Louise; it would work well as a MN too.
Oliver: To me, it's a cute name for a baby/little boy... but a bit too cutesy for a teenager/man -- especially with the nickname "Ollie".
Louise: Not a big fan, it just doesn't sound pretty/feminine to me... I much prefer Eloise (nn. Ellie)! Or even Lucy.
Hudson: Similar to Oliver in that it's cute, but too cute for a teenager/man... or it could be perceived as super preppy.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Love them all!
Though Hudson + Oliver makes me think of Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson's brother.
