Hello and Lurker on bedrest

I usually don't have time to post up very much but yesterday my OB put me on bedrest the next four days so I have nothing better to do. I'm going a bit crazy right now because I have two DD's ages 4 and 2. My dh is OOT right now and my MIL and SIL are here helping. MIL has been great, but SIL has never had kids and is an "expert" at child rearing. She wanted to be "in charge" of putting my youngest down for her nap and only pissing off my daughter. I've explained to her countless number of times that my youngest just wants her stories read and her music on and in bed she goes. Yet the problem lies within SIL who just cant bear leaving my DD to cry. My DD will cry for a few minutes and then bam, she is asleep.She's been crying now for the past 15 minutes with SIL in the room with her. When we put her down and leave her to herself, she will only cry for less than 5 minutes. I'd really love to go up there and take over, but I know it is in my best interest to listen to my OB. I turned 36 weeks today and I'm just hoping to make it one more week, but it's going to be very, very difficult. It's really hard to relinquesh control in your own home and just let it be. Thanks for letting me vent.

Sorry you are having a tough time and your SIL is being a know it all.  I was on bedrest for a few weeks with DD, it was hard but I made it to exactly 37 weeks and she came home with me healthy, so it was well worth it.  Just try and stick it out, hopefully your MIL can step up and help SIL out a little.  Good Luck:)
