This is what happens when an idiot tries to be creative. I'm guessing this mother heard or read Nevaeh, didn't know the "story" behind it, and thought, how can I make that unique? Always a recipe for disaster.

I went to high school with a boy named Nevan, maybe it is just a younnek version of that?  Nevan is a real name, it is Irish and means "Little Saint."

"Navianah" (girl) was on a hospital list near us. Couldn't help but wonder if it's a morph of Neveah. Not at all my style.
