help- pet urine

my dog seems to be leaking urine. Of course a call to the vet is in orde,r but how do I get the smell out. I think it's been happening longer than I realize at night and the spot where he sleeps stinks. I've tried nature's miracle but I think that made it worse

I would stick with nature's miracle. When our dog was sick, I really doused it and it worked.

Depending on the type of flooring you have, I'd do bleach and water.  My JRT will "mark" our guestbath tile floor from time to time.  The only thing that takes it away is bleach and water. 

PS- My friend uses it on her laminate floors without a problem.
