do you ever wonder what they do with the extra pictures?

MH and I both want to know what the docs do with all the u/s pics they print out. They give you like 1-4, but they print out a shiit load. I'm tempted to ask them if we can have them after they do whatever analysis then need to do with them.

I've always assumed they are hard copies of the measurements they need to take and get put in my paper file, since I'm not sure that the u/s data gets transferred easily to my electronic file.

They still have the u/s from my first baby! They keep them in your chart for some reason. Not sure the exact reason though.

Yup they keep them in your chart.  My doctor office staples them in right in front of me hence how I know.  I dunno if they reference back to them or what but they have all my pregnancies in there still including my early miscarriage.

They always give us all of the printed ones along with a CD.

they staple them to my chart as well.  I do know last pg there was one i wanted that was really cute of his arm making a fist, and they had not given it to me-  so I asked and they had no problem cutting it out for me-  so maybe ask when it's all done!
