Hm. These kinds of polls don't really work. We can only vote on your girl name OR boy name, not both. So you should probably do a separate poll for each.

I can't vote for either of those names. I like Clare/Claire but that's it.
If you are looking for Irish girl names, maybe consider these:
Fiona, Finnoula (you can use Fin as a nn with this one), Mairead (mawr-aid), Roisin (ro-sheen), Ruari/Rori, Saoirse (seer-sha), Siobhan (shiv-awn), Aoife (ee-fa), Cara, Ciara/Keira (Keer-a), Colleen
You can find all kinds of names in baby books and websites, but it doesn't mean they are accurate. Braveangel posted yesterday about this article that has good information about this. You can't always believe what some random website has to say about a name. Just an FYI.
You can certainly spell a name anyway you like, but I'm not sure why you would make a post wanting opinions if you are not going to take them into consideration. GL.
BTW- I typed Finnleigh into irishbabynames.com and got no returned results.
So many things are going wrong in this poll that I'm not sure if I can morally vote. (Finnleigh? Really?! Finley is just fine and people will actually be able to spell it!)
I'm not a fan of Finley on a girl, but at least it doesn't make me feel nauseous like Finnleigh Clare does. Please, please, PLEASE use Finley Clare or Finley Claire.

understood. i merely asked for an opinion regarding one n or two. not whether or not you liked my name choice. had this post been named "what do you think of this name?" i could expect the replies you guys provided, but they don't really help me since that wasn't the intent of my post. btw-since the traditional finlay/finley is a scottish name, it makes sense that irish baby names wouldn't cover it.

Well when you post on a forum you are going to get opinions about the name whether you specify you want them or not. Your spelling doesn't come up on many sites, and using "leigh" to make a masculine name look "prettier" doesn't make a name feminine IMO.

I like the name, but hate the spellings.
Finley Claire is much nicer.

I agree with those who like the names and hate the spellings.
I like Finley Claire a lot, but Finleigh Clare looks pretty rough.

FWIW, I don't think it really matters if you use one "n" or two if you must use those spellings.
