So ladies....
I know a lot of people are naming their daughters Avery, but my husband and I like that for our little boy. Do you think he would be made fun of if he had another little girl in his class with the same name someday? Or do you think NOOO it's only a girl's name??
Re: Avery
I know 2 girls and 1 boy Avery. Honestly, I think it's a bit feminine for a boy's name.
I have a unisex name that is more "boy" than "girl" and I went to school with someone of the same name (a boy). Of course, he was a trouble maker so every time he got called to the office, everyone always turned to look at me until the last name was said! I hated it.
But he won't be any different than the boy/girl Peytons and such that will probably also be in school with him. So many names are unisex these days it probably won't even be an issue.
This is the problem with unisex names and it's why I steer clear of them. I do prefer Avery on boys, but unfortunately he'll most likely be in a class with about six other Averys - all females. I think you should make it his middle name or not use it at all. It's definitely going to put him out there for either teasing or despising his name.

Our daughter will be Avery Michelle...
I do know a boy with the name though... he's about 16. I also know a 13 year old girl named Avery.
Sorry, but I'm not a fan of using unisex names at all. And eventhough it started as a boys name, I fully consider this name to be unisex now.
But there's good news! Since it has three syllables, it would probably make a great middle name for most of the other names on your list!
Anything two syllables, ending in a consonant (Read: N) on that long list of yours? If so, I bet Avery would fit perfectly with it!
