Hello Ladies!

I'm new to The Bump, but have been lurking the boards for a while.  My DH and I have been married for a year and we are now TTC.  It's our second month trying and I get to test in 5 days!  

I'm hoping to connect with some of you so that I have someone to discuss this whole process with.  I don't know how many of you have shared that you are TTC, but my DH and I are not letting ANYONE know about it.  We want our families to be surprised when we are finally expecting.  Hopefully I can vent all my pent up emotions here and actually get some feedback!  My cats and dog are good listeners, but don't give any advice! LoL

Hi!

My husband and I have been married for almost a year and are about to start TTC.  Last birth control pill is tomorrow :-)  We really hadn't intended on telling people but I ended up telling my sister over the weekend.  It just came up in conversation and I didn't want to lie :-)  Oh and work knows about it too.  We know everyone's business like that :-)  Actually it is because I am a nurse and there are certain patients I can't take care of if I am pregnant or might be pregnant and I can't do my own Xrays and that type of thing.  We also have a cat and a dog but I don't think they listen to me. Anyway good luck to you!

Hey, I completely understand your situation.  It must be good to tell people that you are trying.  I just really would rather not.  I feel that I would get frustrated with all the questions that would follow.  And I know some of my friends would ask every week if I thought I was pg! 

I think it's easier for us to wait until a little one is finally on the way!  

Good luck with everything!  I hope your transition off the pill is nice and smooth!!!!
