SS is already hiding stuff!

I knew he had a meet the teacher night tonight, but he never brought anything home.  He told me it was at 6:30. So we get there and everyone is already gone.  It was at 5:30.  Not making for the best start of the year!

My SS is the same way. What frustrates me is, he will not say anything about a band concert he is in, or a project through his Tessera program, until a half hour before. Grrrrr.

That's rough.  When my son was younger both biodad and I made sure to get calendars from the school since my son never remembered. Hopefully his first day is not as tough!

That sucks!  Does the school have an online calendar?  That's what I use to make sure I don't miss anything.

I would make sure to get an event calendar from the school.  In our school the kids also have a take home journal that we have to sign and return the next day and all homework and events are written in this journal on a daily basis.

My SD does this all the time with report cards, etc. 

A lot of schools now have a website that shows all of this info, you can print off calendars, etc.  That has been very helpful to us!
