Potty clean-up

I feel like this is a really stupid question, but how do you clean your DC's potty seat (separate potty, not one that sits atop the big toilet) after they go?  We're only on day two and so far I've flushed the pee or poop into the big toilet and then sprayed down/wiped with some Dow bathroom cleaner. Just right?  Overboard?  Not clean enough?

With pee I dump it then push a lil soap in the removal potty part then run it under water. With poop, after I flush it I rinse then use clorox/ Lysol wipes to clean it : )

I rinse it with water, dumping that water into the toilet. Then I wipe it with Clorox wipes.

We have both the potty chair, and a seat on the big toilet. So far, he's only popped in the big toilet, thank goodness! So much easier!!

We haven't had a poo yet, but with wee, we just dump it, rinse with water and dry it.
