I am new to this b/c my LO had a disposable diaper allergy.  I am looking for recommended types and tips.  I am also not sure how many to purchase so I guess how many do you have?  TIA

I like my Thirsties (sized pockets, Duo diapers, and Fab Fitteds), my Bluebeerry minky, and my various OS diapers (though i'm working on a leak issue with my Fuzzibunz). I like my Thirsties covers, but I'm loving my wool covers more and more.

I have about 2 dozen. I wash every other day.

Check the EcoFriendlyFamily blog, diaperpin.com, and pinstripesandpolkadots.com for some tips and tutorials. You may want to consider a diaper trial to start so you can figure out what works for you. Different diapers work better with different kids and at different ages.

I love my BG sized AIOs, FuzziBunz perfect size, Thirsties duo pockets, thirsties fab fitteds.  Every baby is different so different diapers work better for some babies than others.  I have a little of everything.  I have about 2 dozen or so and wash every other day.  Diaper trials are a great idea to find out what works for you.  I didn't do a trial (DH has this thing about used diapers).  I just bought one of everything that caught my eye and went from there.
