I hate buying shoes for DD

I swear she is in between sizes or just has weird feet b/c she has a pair of 5's that I think are getting tight and then she has a pair of 4s that I think are fine.  It is so hard to figure out what fits her right.

i think it's like buying shoes for yourself....every shoe is different.  the way each shoe is made or buckles or something might mean a different size.  my dd has puffy feet on top (it's slimmed down some over the past few months) so, i try to buy shoes that have adjustable straps.

you might also want to try stride rite, that's the only place i get dd's shoes because they have medium and wide widths.  good luck.

Same here - we were always having weird sizes in shoes, then we went to StrideRite and they said he needed a wide, since his foot is still puffy on top.  Now, we get 4 1/2 Wide and they fit perfect.  His other 4 1/2s don't fit b/c his foot won't let them slide all the way in at the top, even though the bottom it technically the correct size. 

Maybe get her measured (if you haven't already) and see what they say.
