Good morning ladies. How is everyone this monring??

QOTD: Have you and your DH started budgeting for your LO. Also what was the first purchase you will or have made?

It's afternoon here!  So good afternoon, too! 

QOTD:  DH and I have kind of started budgeting for the LO.  And by that I mean we're putting a little bit into savings, but we're also trying to pay down some of the bills so that we have fewer bills to pay once LO comes.

QOTD: We're trying to pay off as much of our debt as possible before LO arrives and trying to put some money away too. We haven't started shopping just yet, although I have picked up a few outfits that were on sale.

QOTD: We have bought absolutely nothing. I got a promotion in July, so I am putting everything that I make above my previous salary in savings. We are also paying off my car and doing some home improvement projects.

We are both savers so we have been trying to save for the LO for a long time. And it took us a whileto get here so we have been saving. We will continue to  try to save as much as possible. We haven't started buying anything yet. Just trying to get an idea of what we want to buy,

Doing well! Feels like my nausea decided to come hang around today, a little out of nowhere, so that's not particularly fun but I'm hanging in there : )

QOTD: We have started budgeting, but so far, only for my maternity leave. We have to save enough of my income for about 3 months' worth since most of my maternity leave will be unpaid and we want to be prepared.

We haven't actually made any purchases ourselves for the baby. My mom has purchased furniture, but I don't get it until the end of September. So far, it seems like people around us are getting us little gifts here and there, so I haven't felt the need to buy anything. I have, however, started purchasing maternity clothes.

Hey ladies!! I am doing pretty good today.

QOTD: We have been trying to put as much money as possible in savings. We really haven't made any purchases, other than a few outfits. Family and friends have given us a few things though, so I guess that has helped my urge to go buy something!

Not really budgeting. We're still paying Aidan's medical bills.  We haven't made any purchases for this baby yet.

I have been putting $50 a week into a savings account for our LO. We also have been trying to pay down some debt so we don't have to worry about it while I'm not working.

It's not morning anymore for me But, I'm doing well! I'm feeling a bit more energetic (I probably just jinxed it though).

QOTD: We have kind of started budgeting. We are more figuring out paying off the credit card in the next couple of months. Once we do that, we won't be using anywhere near all of our paychecks every month so we're going to start saving like crazy. I am trying to get on the overnight team at work. As much as I don't really want to work over night and have a screwy sleep schedule, the OT will be nice and definitely helpful. School is starting next week which means lots of financial aid coming in as well. I think we'll be okay. 

As for our first purchase, it will probably be in a few weeks (once the financial aid check comes in). We're planning on buying the PNP, stroller, and high chair (about $500 for all 3).

Hello Ladies!

We started saving right away.  It's not going well.... lots of unexpected expenses came up.  But, we're not too worried for now, as long as we can get back on track.

We bough a onesie in disneyland.  It's jack skellington (DH's fav), and very boyish.  I also bought a stroller the other day, but cancelled the order the next day, lol.  So we just have the one outfit bought during this pregnancy.  We've accumulated more clothes then I'd like to admit previously.
