Birthday party question

Sam's birthday is October 29.  This year Halloween falls on a Sunday.  I was planning on having his party on a Saturday, but the Saturday before Halloween seems like a busy time for a lot of people.  Would you do it the weekend before or after Halloween instead?

I probably would unless you wanted to do a Halloween themed party for him.  That could be a fun option too.

I do, but I guess I am concerned people will have other plans and be too busy to come.

In my area community trick-or-treating is not alway on Halloween, sometimes the day before of the day after. Where it's a Sunday you may want to make sure that they haven't planned trick or treating for Saturday night (if they do that in your area).  But, I would definitely have it that weekend.  A halloween theme would be fun, but even if that's not what he wants I would do it.

I would do it that Saturday.  Even if people do have stuff going on for Halloween (trick or treating events and parties), it will most likely be in the evening, so I'd just have the party in the afternoon around lunch time.

I would have it the saturday before in the afternoon. I do take in account what time our favorite football team is playing and kind of plan around that. Sounds like a fun party.
