Hey strangers! It's been for-freaking-ever. I've been working with band camps for the last two weeks. Yeah. Seriously.

We just spent the last two days at my Grandfather's funeral. It was so sad but so perfect, too. My dad found a bagpiper to play Amazing Grace and the Marine Hymn, at which DH and I completely lost it. There was a 21-gun salute, and young marines came and played Taps and did a flag-folding ceremony. It was really, really hard to say goodbye. I'm just so sad that none of my future kids will get to know him, but he really lived a great, long life.

Speaking of future kids, still working on that. DH gets way too excited then bummed, I keep trying to tell him that people try and try for way more than what we have, and he knows. He's just really ready, which is super cute, I suppose.

I've missed you ladies, hope things are going well here! I'll try to get caught up on all that I've missed the last 2 weeks, but anyone want to give me highlights? Smile

    Hey lady! Glad to "see" you again! I'm so sorry about your Grandfather's passing. I know for me when my Grandma past this last March one of the hardest things was knowing that she would never meet our children, so I know how you feel. I'm happy to hear that it was such a perfect funeral, that makes it a little easier to say goodbye.

    I hope you have time to stick around and lots of ***baby dust*** to you!
