I'm going to go ahead and replace some of my lost clothes with some summer/fall friendly pieces, since their clearance has a great selection right now, and I have birthday money (!!!) to spend.
Here's what I've narrowed it down to:
What do you think? I'm a blonde with olive undertones and green eyes, and can pull off about any color. I'm a very curvy hour glass, 5'7", size 8/10.
Papagena? Come on girl! I need your Anthropologist Insight!
Re: It's Anthropologie Shopping Time!
Since I'm cheap, I'd get the lavender dress, the navy strapless, the black and white striped top, and the scalloped top. All work for summer to fall, and you could even eek out some outfits in November with the right sweater/tights combo or any other type of layering.
I like the coral color, but it screams "this is a summer dress!"
The yellow and navy halters look like something you could whip up with your sewing skills in about three minutes.
P.S. Did you tell the insurance company that your entire wardrobe was nothing but Anthropologie and you need to be heavily reimbursed? ;p

I'm not crazy about the coral either.
and those aren't halter dresses, lol! They actually have pin tuck details and some such, and are cheaper than it would be for me to make them. and that is a striped wrap dress, lol! I should have put the descriptions or at least the names.
If I bought one of each style of item, I'd spend $230 + shipping. That is it! Pretty awsome, yes?
And no, I didn't fib to the insurance company. I was honest, and it's still an expensive pile of clothing losses! Prices are replacement costs for new
(1) Tommy Hilfiger strapless dress (2nd hand score that I altered for a better fit and didn't even get to wear!) ...$50
(1) strapless Gap cotton jersey knit dress ...$40
(2) Victoria Secret convertable wonder strapless bras ...$120
(3) pair Victoria Secret Undies ...$30
(3) Lia Sophia necklaces ...$230
(1) Limited short sleeve sweater ...$34
(1) Maurices red blouse ...$30
(2) fitted t-shirts ...$25
see? Still a pricey loss. And I LOVED that Gap dress. I wore it all.the.time. this summer.
Oops. I knew that the striped one was a dress, I mis-typed. And I knew the others weren't halters, but I didn't have the pics in front of me when I was typing, so I just went with what I thought they were... I'm not really that fashionably-challenged!
And $230 for one of each? YES that's a deal!
Do they run true to size? I need some work clothes!
<a href="http://s1103.photobucket.com/albums/g471/HealthfulMama/?action=view
I looked thru the reviews, and the strapless runs a size big in the bodice, the lace top runs a size big in the bust, and the rest run tts.
Several reviewers touted the lilac dress as a great nursing dress.
and I fibbed. I forgot to add the striped wrap dress, which is the most expensive item at $70.
But still, $300 for one of each is insanely awsome of a deal!
Definitely still an awesome deal.
It's strange that each item runs a different size. When I asked you about the sizing, I figured that you'd give me an overall statement about Anthropologie like, "They run small," or "I always order a size down."
I wish I had some extra cash on hand. I could definitely outfit myself for the back-to-school season! Maybe I'll get some birthday money

i'd nix the red/orange top (can't tell color).
I'd definitely get the rest though. I prefer the strapless in turquoise and the pintuck dress in the mustard... it's just fun!

It because they are different designers.
It's red, and that cut/style looks amazing on me. I have it in olive, and it wears so pretty. Especially since I have thicker upper arms. I can dress the style up or down, layer it, and it works year around.
I pph clothes, lol!
oh ok I thought you were asking us to talk you out of some of it, but apparently not! LOL Then go for it mama!!!
