Pre-School and Daycare

My favorite thing about pre-school:

Please add yours on!

We're doing public school so this is only our second week in.

The thing I LOVE is hearing him singing new songs that I've never heard before.

We sing around the house all the time and it's so neat to know it's a part of his day with his teachers and new friends too!

What do YOU love about pre-school for your LO?

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

  • The cute art projects they bring home that I am too scared/lazy to do here!
  • the art projects and the spanish lessons

in the summer they travel around the world, make suitcases in the begining of the summer and visit a different country every week, from eating foods based on that specific culture of the week, to singing songs and doing art projects.  i love it.  i would never come up with this stuff on my own.

    we love school!

  • That she gets so excited to go everyday.  We have 2 w/in a year of each other...so it's her escape from being right with her brother all the time.  She's learning so much and becoming more of an individual.

  • I loved that my kids got to spend time around other children.  We live on a lonely rural road, and my odd work schedule at the time prevented me from enrolling my kids in many weekday activities.  So prior to preschool, my kids had not spent much time around other children.

Even though it took both of my kids a while to loosen up, and outgrow their social inexperience, they both made great progress with this right from the start.  The teachers at my kids' school, especially my son's teacher (the director) really worked with him on this and actually "taught" him how to introduce himself to kids, how to join others who were playing, etc.  I had the academic stuff under control with them at home, but BOY did they need the social experience!
