Gotta little story for ya about Wendy's salads...
So today I drove-through Wendy's for lunch and ordered one of their new Apple Pecan Chicken Salads.
I get back to my office and cut into the chicken and realized that it is completely RAW on the inside!! It looked like it had been seared on the outside but not cooked through even a little bit. It was still mushy and pink like raw chicken is.
So I drive allllllllllll the way back to the Wendy's and show them my salad and all they say is "Oh sorry. So do you like want a refund or a replacement salad or something?" And then I hear one of the chicks towards the back say "Well we're super busy today so..."
WTF. You serve me RAW chicken and all I get is a "sorry" and a refund???
I was so mad but I just took my refund and left. However now that I'm finally back at work I've already submitted an online complaint.
Grrrr! I've worked in customer service long enough to know that when you fvck up that badly you need to go above and beyond to make it right.
So ladies the moral of this story is to check your chicken for doneness before devouring.

That happened to me at Chick-Fil-A once. Took a big bite out of my grilled chicken sandwich only to find out it was raw. I was sick for days. I didn't eat at CFA for over 5 years--couldn't even stand the smell. Thankfully I have gotten over it now.

I think Wendy's is horrible with customer service. I've had several issues with them before and they always argue, instead of helping solve it!
First of all, thank goodness you examined your food before you took a big bite of raw chicken. Eww. Good for you for actually taking it back and letting them know. I wish they had actually listened and made it right, but I hope you hear something from someone about the online complaint.

, but I did register an online complaint with a local McDonald's after many, many bad experiences with their restaurant, bad customer service and paying for food that wasn't received at the drive-thru. Complaints directly to the restaurant got us no where, but the actual franchise owner responded with a letter and coupons for free items. We still tend to avoid that particular store, but the gesture was appreciated.
