Getting fluids

Hi hi hi

like inamra, I have hyperemisis gravi something something. My ms was so bad. I guess it's not common but not uncommon either.

I'm getting iv fluids as I type this. I'm sleepy now.

on a good note, we saw baby again today. Lucky charm is doing well.

i am sorry momma! did doc say you have to be put on bed rest of something? glad you're getting fluids to make sure you do not get dehydrated. happy to know lc is doing great!! :-)

I had an old friend from high school who is about to have her baby in the next 3 weeks and she has the hyperemisis gravi where she has to have an iv pump constantly, still.  I feel so terrible for her (and you), I can not imagine feeling that way all. the. time.  How far along were you when you starting getting m/s?

I hope you are feeling better now that the iv fluids are kicking in, I know it helped my friend A LOT!  Happy to hear that you saw baby again too   Sending you getting better vibes kinibruin!

Yeah, I have read it's such a small percentage.  I"m so sorry   Glad to hear it's working for you though

dr. Put me on a medicine regimen. So while I'm not on bedrest, the medicine will knock me out.

Lindsay: it hit me at week 7 & has gotten worse. I'm at week 102d now...

Yeah, I was surprised another nestie/you would get it since it affects such a small percentage...I thought I'd be the only one but I'm so sorry you're going through this cuz I know how miserable and torturous it felt. =( I hope the IV will help you feel better cuz it really helped for me. Don't be afraid to go in couple times a week as you need it. It really helps and your body and baby really needs the hydration. I would go in every other day sometimes even though it's hard cuz I never wanted to leave the house and riding in the car was hard on me but the IV would be worth it. I think I did it for about 3-4 weeks before I was able to hold down fluids (with Zofran) and stopped going. So don't be afraid to rely on the IV for a bit and hang in there! I really hope it passes as quickly as possible and that you feel better soon! Glad to hear lc is doing well! Generally, lots of m/s = healthy baby so at least that was always a relief for me...
