Ca Academy of Science question

I am braving the academy of science free day tomorrow with both kiddos.

Do I dare take a stroller?

  • On a free day, I say no way! From what I hear (my SIL works there) free days are particularly crowded

  • We took an umbrella stroller and it was fine. There are places where you can park it and leave it w/out any worries but just a warning it does get crowded when you're down in the aquarium area.

Have fun and if you can get there early enough, you can find parking around the park instead of paying.  Big Smile
  • I'd say absolutely not. The one and only time I went it was a week day and yet still insane -- people were smacking into me just wearing my Ergo.

    This!

  • No don't take the stroller, you should wear her if you can. On a free day it is going to be crazy and not much room for a stroller.
  • I wouldn't take a stroller. We went with our niece on a weekday and it was still busy as heck. She was in an umbrella stroller and people kept kicking it and almost tipped her over as they were walking by. It's insane.
  • thanks guys! Thats what I thought. Now pray I don't loose my noodle. Or my kiddo. :)

  • I just went last week and it was insane.   I ended up carrying DS around in the Ergo the whole time.  Actually I think the whole trip was not that enjoyable since it was so crowded.   There were lines for everything - pretty hard to do with a baby.
