How many diapers/size?

I already have a jumbo box of size 1 and size 2 diapers (228 and 252 diapers) and was wondering how long that will last? Do you think I should get another box of each size? How long do they usually stay in each size? (He weighed 8lbs 2oz at birth and weighs about 9 now and as soon as his last few newborn diapers are gone I'm going to start using the size ones.)

I would think that you'll need at least another jumbo box of both (and probably 2 of the 2's) just from our experience. We buy our diapers at Sam's club and with 292 (there about) we go through one box a month. DS weighs almost 12lbs. HTH!

I am almost done with my case of size 1's and DS will be 1 month on Thursday. So I assume I will go through about a case a month. I kept three cases of 1's but have not opened the 3rd box in case I need to return it. So far I only have 1 case of 2's. All gifts, I haven't bought a single diaper yet yeah!

I wouldn't buy any more until you know for sure. We had a huge huge box of 1-2's and I'm struggling to finish them since he's grown so fast. He's long and they're getting too short. Just wait and see.
