Two Under 2

If you researched double strollers...

I am trying to decide between a Graco DuoGlider and a Baby Trend Sit N Stand (one with 2 actual seats).  I don't think we'll be using it much so I don't want to spend a ton but want the opportunity to know where both kids are at all times.  We currently have a Graco LiteRider single stroller and the Graco Snugride carseat.  So, do I go with the Graco or the Baby Trend?

Re: If you researched double strollers...

  • I'd go with the S&S since your kids are a bit further apart in age. We went with a stroller that can convert back to a single because our DD is walking on her own about 50% of the time already.
  • i love my duo glider BUT it's bulky. It fits in the back of my  dodge mini van if you put it in just the right way. However our 7 passenger ford explorer it won't fit at all.

  • I had the exact same debate about strollers. We went with the baby trend S&S deluxe tandem from BRU. Its black with some yellow piping on the canopy's. My kiddos will be 16-17 mos apart and I wanted at double that would grow with us. DS #1 probably won't be content to sit in the stroller much longer but right now he probably will not tolerate a the standing part of the sit and stand so I wanted one that would convert back and forth. I also wanted to be able to put the new LO in his carseat (SN 32) in the back seat and have DS #1 sit up front to see better. It also has a snack tray/cup holder/ toddler restraint bar : ) for both seats. I just put it together by myself yesterday and it was a piece of cake. Unfold, snap on wheels, snap on one canopy and the snack trays and you are good to go. I haven't actually take it outside yet but it handled well in the store. Plus its almost $100 cheaper than the Graco Duoglider. Good luck. I like the babytrend so far so we'll see how it holds up to two kiddos in the next few weeks. It does fit in the back of my Santa Fe. The Graco was a much tighter fit.
