Who thought they were "out"?

I'm lurking from TTGP, and I notice a lot of you say that you thought you were "out" b/c of temp drops, or BFN's...my question is: Why did you think you were "out" before you got your BFP?? Thanks for humoring my curiosity!

I didn't chart this time, but with DS, I thought I was done because I had a pretty good temp drop the day before my BFP. But the next day, it was up again and AF still hadn't arrived, so I decided to test.

I had crazy PMS, like I had the month earlier, exactly when those symptoms would usually be due. I was so cranky and irritable and wanted to punch people. Then, BFP anyway, go figure!

With my DS I thought I was out because I felt the exact same way I did the month before and tested negative. Terribly sore boobs day after ovulation, irritable...figured it was just "me off the pill"

My temp dropped low on 10DPO, like it does if AF is coming. I thought I was so out. Didn't temp for 2 more days, but then AF didn't come. Temped and it still wasn't that high. Tested and it was +.

My BFP came on cycle 11. I had a miscarriage in March, and went on low-dose BCP in May & June to try to regulate my cycle & hormones. I didn't O until CD 24 in July and I started to spot one week after that (like I have since October 2009) I was sure I was out (or about to have another c/p) and then I got a BFP at 10 DPO. I went on Prometrium the next day and so far, so good.

My temps started dropping like they had in previous months. I was getting geared up for a March baby. My temp went up 12DPO and I tested on a whim.

I didn't chart this cycle and got a BFN several times, and finally a BFP today on cd52. Really did not expect a BFP today. I felt like I was just peeing on $4. Then the positive line showed up dark and fast!

I didn't think I was pregnant at all. I had cramps and thought AF was coming, but tested because DH and I had a drinkfest scheduled for the weekend. I was 4 weeks at the BFP.

I thought I was out. My temperature started to drop, I even spent a day moping and told DH we were most likely out. He was depressed all day. Luckily, 3 days later I got to tell him i was wrong. LoL.

We did not have sex the day I O'd or they day after and a few days before AF was due I had horrible cramps and typical symptoms AF was gonna show.

I did not think I ovulated so I stopped temping and took Provara when AF did not show up on day 11 after last pill I took a test and it was a very big BFP.

I had a huge temp drop around 7dpo and figured I was done with this cycle. I stopped temping thinking I would start up again next cycle. It wasn't until my period was two days late with unusual cramping that I thought I might actually be pregnant.

I had a negative test a couple of days before my BFP and definitely felt like AF was coming.

I just "knew" we were out last month! I had spotting for two days around 5dpo and i had read online that implantation spotting NEVER lasts for more than a day. also, my temps were completely flat after those 2 days of spotting. With my last BFP in february my temps continued to climb the closer i got to "AF". obviously every pregnancy is different but your chart doesn't have to be the "perfect" pregnancy chart in order to actually be pregnant.
