Many of you would have been pregnant during the H1N1 and seasonal flu craziness ...
If you were exposed the flu, did you go on anti-virals--even without getting a flu-blown flu diagnosis. Or, did they just tell you to avoid contact with someone who has the flu.

Congrats on the pregnancy!
I received the H1N1 vaccine and 5 days later (because it takes 2 weeks to get immunity) I contracted what my doc thought was H1N1. They put me on Tamiflu, it was safe during pregnancy and I started to feel better within a couple of days. I never got tested to see if it was H1N1 confirmed, but because I exhibited 2 out of the 3 symptoms they put me on the anti-viral as a precaution.

Congratulations!!!!
I got the shots (H1N1 and the regular one - could be one shot this year) with no side effects aside from a sore shoulder. Oh, and sore feet. I had to stand in a line for three hours for the H1N1, back before it was available in doctors offices.
