So I'm off to McAlister's and want a sweet tea realllllllly bad but I'm guessing that is probably a terrible caffiene overload. Ahh...oh the battles within

Iced tea is the one caffeine drink that I have not given up. I only have it when I'm out to dinner, which is pretty rare, so it is a nice treat! And a good break from all the water.

I get a sweet tea from Mc D's when I am in dyer need of some energy mid afternoon. I looked it up, and while of course it has sugar and caffeine, it only has HALF the sugar and caffeine as in Pepsi or Coke. So if you think of it that way, it may not be the BEST thing in the world for you and your baby, but sometimes you just need it!!!

I gave in to my sweet tea cravings a month ago and haven't looked back! I only get one about once a week, if that. I even get the huge one at McD's for $1, but I have them fill it with ice and water it down as I go. Everyone is right, it's half the caffeine of coffee or soda and it's all good in moderation. I even gave in to a McCafe Mocha Latte a few weeks ago!
Re: Ahhh...sweet tea craving!
One solution I have found to my sweet tea/iced tea fix is to make my own but decaf. I seriously go through a pitcher of iced tea every 2 days.
I don't feel bad about drinking so much because I made it using decaf tea bags, and it helps me get the fluids I need because I HATE drinking water.
