What do you think of this name?  It's not a name I would choose, but someone I know used it for their daughter.  I just don't think it's a very pretty name really...... but what do you think?

It's gaining popularity and I suppose I can see the appeal, but I'm not a fan. Even spelled this way, it's still just another Emma- name.

I think of it as a boy name. The only person I've ever known w/ the name was an old man, a friend of my grandpa so I would never use it.

I didn't like it at first, but its kind of grown on me over the last few years. I have a distant cousin who named their son Emery. I guess its an old old family name or something like that. Its not my style, but it could be worse.

Emery is my Great Uncle's name.

Also my dad's middle name.

 Not a girl name IMO.

I wanted to comment on this when I saw it but I was on my phone and I cannot seem to figure out how to post from it but anyways, I love this name. I have it on my list but it is spelled Emory, I think that makes it look more feminine (sp). My middle name is Ann and so is my grandmothers (my Mimi) so I love the way Emory Ann sounds.

Anyway, I love it!
