Problems with Take n' Toss Sippy Cups?

Has anyone noticed their LO having problems with this kind?

I will give her a sippy of milk, she will start quickly sucking on it and then BURST OUR SCREAMING because it seems to not let anything out.

I just went to squeeze it to see if anything would come out and sure enough it was like sealed air-tight so nothing would come out of the spout.

Anyone know what I'm talking about? Also, please recommend another sippy if you like one.

I had this problem and I just took a knife and cut the slits on the spout a little larger to let more milk out.  We never had the problem of "no" milk coming out but it would come out pretty slow and make DD mad.

DS would suck so hard his face would turn real red. He would get mad and throw it. Then the lid came off and we had milk/water/juice EVERYWHERE.

I refuse to by take n toss sippys anymore.

I found some "sippy" cups at the Dollar store that don't have the no spill plastic piece on the spout.  It just has a spout to direct the water.  So DS controls how much fluid he gets by tipping it correctly.  They are 4 for $1 so it's very disposable if you want.
