Our 5 yr. anniversary is coming up Labor Day weekend and we are looking to go somewhere nice. Don't want to spend a ton of money, but definitely want to have a good, memorable meal. We are open to cuisines. I love a good dessert after dinner so would love to have some good options. Any suggestions? Oh, we are on the southside so no further north than midtown or buckhead preferably. Thanks!
Re: Restaurant recs for 5 yr. anniversary dinner?
With or without kids? Without kids--hands down, Bacchanalia. There is a review in my bio.
With kids-Fritti or Noon Midtown. Both have high chairs and stuff kids will eat.

Rathbun or Rathbun Steak - are two of our faves - I like Rathbun's desserts better esp the candy bar dessert, yum!
New York Prime in buckhead is Dh's fave place to go. I can taste their cheesy mashed potatoes right now. Oh and their banana cream pie is to die for.
We haven't been but I've heard good things about BLT Steak as well. Our good friend knows the chef there and he goes all the time. He loves it. I'm thinking of taking dh here for his birthday.

I just ate at 4th & Swift a few weeks ago with a girlfriend and it was super tasty. The chef likes to use local and sustainable ingredients on his very seasonal menu. The dining room is also conducive to having a nice little intimate dinner. It was the second time I'd been there.
Prices are mid-range and I think it would be great for an anniversary dinner.
It's in the Old 4th Ward (on North Ave. by the Masquerade).
Oh thanks! I have heard that is a great restaurant! I think we might give it a try...
