OPK question

Since I don't know my cycle and am new to temping, charting, cm and all of that, what day would you suggest starting OPK testing?  I don't have a lot of the internet cheapies this cycle. I have a pack of seven (can obviously get more if necessary).  I was just curious what cycle day you would begin.

Some people never get fertile CM.  It is also possible to get fertile CM at multiple points in your cycle.

I was in the same boat. I had no idea, so I bought a 20 pack and started on CD 8!

Or if you're in a hurry try the dollar tree.  They have easy to read OPKs. Cheap.

Like PP said, some people do not get noticeable fertile CM. Or they get one day of it and by then, the LH surge may have already happened and taking OPKs would be useless. The point of OPKs is to start taking them BEFORE the fertile time so you can catch it early.
