I don't mean that pregnant women become jaundiced - I mean is there anything I can do now, while I'm still pregnant, to help prevent or lessen jaundice in the baby once she's born?  DD1 had pretty bad jaundice and we had to have her poor little heels pricked daily, she had to wear a bili blanket, etc.  I'd really rather not relive that, and I don't want DD2 to have to go through it either.  If there's anything I can do, I'd love to hear about it.  I'm type 1 diabetic, which increases baby's chances of developing jaundice, though I'm not sure why.
