I am so tired and irritated. We usually answer the phone anytime it rings in case DH's gma or my gma have an emergency.
Phone rang at 6am. I answered it and some girl is asking where Mike is. I told her you have the wrong number. She called back again, again I told her wrong number. By this time, I am up. She calls back again and I tell her wrong number and she goes off on me saying she knows that Mike is here and she's going to beat my arse for having her man over. I told her to bring it on.
I feel sorry for Mike when she finds him. Wherever he is.
Re: Our house phone started ringing at 6am this morning
LOL, I hope she feels like an idiot when he tells her she's calling the wrong number and she checks her phone and realizes she had the number wrong.
Ask me how I know... I never called the wrong number or yelled at a woman, but last week I was texting my BF, because I usually communicate with him that way during the work day, since he's very busy and can't spend much time on the phone.
He never replied. So I finally got annoyed and called him, and he said he never got any texts... and that he's sorry and what's up, is everything okay... being very nice (thus making me feel bad for being mad at him). Then he asked me if I had texted his work phone by mistake, and I said of course not.
After I hung up, I looked and saw I WAS texting his work cell, which has no texting ability since it's a government line. I had his work cell programmed for emergencies, but not sure how I texted that instead. However, I never fessed up that I texted the wrong place. I just said maybe his cell was having issues again.
Maybe you can you put on call block, or whatever feature your phone has like that. I think it's *60 here. Not sure what it would be for different phone companies since I ditched a landline years ago.
