Weekend trip-need some ideas....

I am in search of somewhere to go last minute to take the kids this weekend.  Anyone have any recommendations on places to take the kids, i.e. waterparks/hotels, water related or other fun activities?

    There is a hotel in Maple Grove with a little waterpark/waterslides inside...it is right by Arbor Lakes, I can't think of that name of the hotel right now.  I think it might be Holiday Inn?  It looks really cute & fun!

    We are going to the St Michael Days & Knights Festival today...they ahve a parade at 11am and a carnival and other stuff...

    There is also a waterpark near the Mall of America.  Or there is always WI Dells!

    I always enjoyed going to the Brainard area (Cragun's, Madden's, Grandview Lodge) as a kid with my family.

    If your family likes the outdoors, the North Shore is always a great place to visit.
