Brogan - Logan+Brody? and all boy Bradley - um, boys name...from the 70s Charley - also a boys name Marley - an old man who hated Christmas and a dog Hadley - a last name
Honestly, I think you're hoping for a boy - and I hope you get one.
ETA: I know Brogan is a saints name and is Irish, so please disregard my ignorance, but not knowing Irish names as well, this is the first thing I thought of.
I don't mind Marley and Charley... but I would want to make Charley more femine by spelling it Charleigh... or possibly naming her Charlotte and calling her Charli for short?
Bradley - Boy's name...unless you are the star in Hey Dude! (any other children of the 80's out there?)
Charley - Boy's name. What about Charlotte? nn Charley?
Marley - NMS...but it is a girl's name.
Hadley - My favorite of the ones you posted...but I'd still not use it.
"It's a little wiillld and a little strannnnggee, when you make your home out on the range. Start your horse and come along, but you can't get a ride if you can't hold on." Heck yes, Hey Dude!
To OP, the names are NMS...Hadley is okay, but I think it sounds like it should be a significant family surname and if it's not, that seems odd.
Honestly, I think you're hoping for a boy - and I hope you get one.
Ha ha! This!
Maley and Hadley are the only acceptable female names on this list (IMO). The rest are boy names, especially Brogan - not acceptable for a girl at all - again, IMO.
Yeah, definitely not liking any of them. They all sound too masculine. Marley could be somewhat feminine, but everyone is just going to think of the dog when they hear it. I've seen Charlie as a female name but spelled differently or as pp mentioned as a nn.

Hadley is the only one that is even remotely passable as a girl's name. I know Ernest Hemingway was once married to a woman named Hadley, so that's the only reason I think of it as a girl's name (even if it is masculine) The rest are terrible for a girl.
So...if these are your girls names....WTH would you name a boy??
We are in the early stages for names...What do you all think of these for a GIRL? (I already have a boys name chosen) Any other suggestions?
Brogan, Bradley, Charley, Marley and Hadley.
TIA!
Why are you asking for opinions on boy names if you already have one chosen? They're all awful for a girl. Hadley is the only one I could give even a partial thumbs up to.

OP please don't so this! Charleigh is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse than Charley!!!!!
Maybe you should consider Charlotte or Charlene and nn her Charley.
Wow. Just read the responses & remembered why I only posted my potential names here once. OP- if you & your SO like it go for it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

This is exactly why I asked! I'd like to cross a few off the list!
FI and I know girls with all of these names; a few are spelled differently. (Like Broghann, instead of Brogan and the -ie form of Charley, etc.)
Some are okay but wanted opinions so that I can show FI this post and say "Hey look, these aren't good!". I don't want an "okay" name. I want a name I love!

Before giving your baby girl a masculine name (and, with the questionable exception of Marley and Hadley which are unisex, technically, these are all masculine), go to this site and look up some of the names that you like, especially any that are typically masculine.
[You'll want to type in the name of your choice into the search box. A list of matching names will come up. Click on the one you want and you'll be taken to a screen that shows the basic information about the name. At the top of that page is a row of tabs: click the tab that reads: "Considering this name?" and you'll see the survey results]
Some others that I know have comments left by girls given boys names: Logan, Kyle, and Aiden. Unanimously, if a girl is given a typically masculine name, she has marked that she doesn't like her name; constantly has to correct people who think she is a boy before meeting her in person; and several times, they say they will change their names at the first opportunity.
Honestly, I was never a fan of unisex or cross-gender names for anyone, but when I started reading those survey results I became staunchly opposed. It seems it's never well-received, except by those who don't have to live with the name.

Lucky for the OP then that she has a thick skin.
Yes, I do have thick skin I would not have asked for honest opinions, if I could not handle them. I agree with many of the posts and disagree with a few, but my original post never said that I, myself, like all of these names. I wanted opinions in order to show my FI. I truely appreciate all of the feedback, both positive and negative!

Adding my two thumbs up too - I bestow the Mother F**king bank award...which is the closest thing to "wearing my big girl panties" as I could find, pictorally speaking.

I have to admit - I have NO IDEA what that means but it made me laugh!

Really? I just took the quiz--honestly--and my name is a boys name--and it's not a very common boys name at that.. I didn't answer that way at all. I always wonder how accurate survey results such as these are--given that it's there is a chance that people who are satisfied with their name wouldn't seek out or take the time to comment about it on a random naming site.
Just like people who are satisfied with a prescription drug may not take the time to comment on their satisfaction--The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Brogan - ick. Sounds manish.
When you say Brogan, it sounds like "broken" to me. Not good.
Bradley and Charley are boys names.
Marley makes me think of a dog's name.
I just don't like Hadley.
Sorry. None of these are my style I guess.
Brogan- sounds extremely masculine.
Bradley- boys name all the way.
Charley- boys name all the way. Maybe Charlotte nn Charley?
Marley- Bob Marley. Marley & Me- the dog. Miley Cyrus. None of these I would want to name my baby girl after.
Hadley- sounds harsh and not particularly feminine.
I don't mind Marley and Charley... but I would want to make Charley more femine by spelling it Charleigh... or possibly naming her Charlotte and calling her Charli for short?
Charlotte (nn. Charlie)?
They're all inappropriately masculine names for a little girl.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

At one time I kind of liked Marley for a girl (after Bob Marley). Marley Rose is what I picked for my phantom baby.
The only other name on your list I like is Hadley.

Growing Up Olson
hhhmmm...all are NMS...
Brogan...looks made up.
Bradley is a boys name...although I know a girl named Bradleigh Anne.
Charley is a very bad misspelling of Charlie, which is also a boy's name.
Marley...I think of Bob Marley (boy) and a dog.
Hadley is honestly just a last name to me.
So...none of them are names for girls IMO. GL!

Brogan--Awful
Bradley--Not sure which is worse, Brogan or Bradley
Charley--Where to begin?
Marley--Decent
Hadley--Passable
Why are you asking for opinions on boy names if you already have one chosen? They're all awful for a girl. Hadley is the only one I could give even a partial thumbs up to.

Thansk for the help!
And this is the one name I like! My dads middle name is Bradford, but we have always called him Bradley, plus I used to love "Hey Dude!"..
This is an awesome response!

Honestly I wonder if your boy names are Nancy, Leslie, and Stacy.
I would assume your child was a boy with those names.
