Anyone use a Mac with a Cannon?

If you do, I have a question for you...

When I plug the rebel into the computer, nothing shows up - like no external drive or anything... what gives?  I try to search for it and nothing!

I'd really like to get these Greece pics up and running, ya know...

Just a thought- can u check the guide that came with the Rebel? I know Canon is savvy enough to include their Mac users - esp since most graphic designers work on Macs!

according to the guide, I'm doing everything right - plug in the camera and turn it on... I googled the problem too and someone said if I use some force plugging the USB end into the comp, it might help and when I did that, iPhoto popped up, but didn't show a device was connected!! So weird!!!
