I am doing a grocery run to stock up on some freezer meals from Trader Joe's and can grab some from Whole Foods too. I am trying to have some easy meals for when LO arrives. I would love to hear what some of your fave selections have been. I shop there on occassion, but want to try new things too.
Thanks!
Re: Favorite frozen meals from TJ's or Whole Foods?
TJ's Veggie Masala Burgers, Chicken Potstickers...and their apple turnovers ($1.99!)
I never really got into frozen meals from WF because they're more expensive. I go there for the produce, yogurt and bread instead.
Same here. I've never bought a frozen meal there, just wondering if I've been missing anything! Thanks for the rec's at TJ's!
We generally don't eat anything prepared, but there a couple things I love! I always have TJ's fried rice and shrimp gyoza's in my freezer (I saute the gyoza's in a pan). I also love TJ's instant risotto when I don't want to make my own. If you like shrimp, that is another thing I always make sure we have in the freezer. It defrosts in a few minutes, is very cheap and mixes well with just about anything. I buy the peeled and uncooked from Target (cheapest and yummy).
Good idea to stock up on these types of things. I am going to have to make a run in a couple weeks as well.

My favorite frozen item from TJs is a rice side dish - chimichurri rice. It is delicious and all you have to do is microwave it.
I also like their frozen penne arrabiata.
Their frozen rice bowls are also nice if you need a meal for one.
I shop at TJs all the time, WF not as much because they are more expensive.
I like their chicken tikka masala meal - it comes with cumin rice.
the orange chicken is good (I think someone already mentioned that)
there pizzas are ok but I usually end up sprusing them up with my own extra veggies and cheese.
